How much will my website cost?

The final cost will be made up of three elements:

  • Fees - for the time required to define your requirements, and design, develop and deliver your website onto the internet
  • Additional items, as agreed - such as the development of complex graphics, manipulation of photos, or writing copy for your pages
  • Expenses & disbursements - which may include domain registration fees, web-hosting charges and travel costs

So, based on my rough guide to costs, here are a few hypothetical examples to illustrate how the final cost will depend on the format, size, complexity and functionality you choose for your website:

  • A single-page website, with associated photos, images and graphics, is likely to cost about 100 plus expenses
  • A typical small brochure website of upto 5 pages, with associated photos, images and graphics, is likely to cost 300 - 600 plus expenses
  • A complex 20-page with advanced features, associated photos, images and graphics, is likely to cost 1,800 - 2,500 plus expenses
Of course, your own website may cost more, or less, than these figures - but you will always receive a clear estimate of the likely cost based on your specific requirements before deciding to go ahead. I will also give you advice on how to keep your costs down - so if you would like to discuss your project and its costs in more detail, please feel free to contact me.
